教会

アメリカに教会がたくさんある。家の徒歩圏内に五ヶ所ぐらいあります。アメリカで７５％はクリスチャンだけど、毎週教会に行く人はそれ以下だと思う。私も、最近まで教会にあまり行ってなかった。２週間前、私の知っている牧師が新しい教会を始めました。その教会の考えは「教会に行くことより、人々を手伝うことの方が重要だ」ということです。

教会はこのホテルの地下にある。

今週のテーマはフットボールとクリスチャンの生活を譬えることでした。フットボールはアメリカの一番人気のあるスポーツで、今年の`シーズンが始まったからこのテーマを選んだかもしれない。私はスポーツがべつに好きじゃないけど、教会はおもしろかった。

最初に挨拶してこの紙のフットボールのゲームをやりました：

その後で、歌を３曲ぐらい歌いました。歌詞が大きい画面に見える。

大部分は牧師の説教です。今日のはクリスチャンの教会のゴールだった。そのゴールはイエスみたいに人間を慈しむことと人々を手伝うことです。もちろん、いいことをしたら、人々がそれを見てクリスチャンになるかもしれないけど、それは今日のフォーカスじゃなかったです。やさしいですから、やさしいことをするべきです。

最後に、献金を上げて、また一曲を歌いました。そして、出口の横に牧師と握手したり、ちょっと話すことができる。

この教会は日本からちょっと遠いだけど、できれば、来週来て見てね！
